Every throttle body is tested with diagnostic equipment before it goes into stock: we check the electric motor actuation, the full travel of the throttle valve and the potentiometer response. We supply electronically, pneumatically and cable-operated throttle bodies.
Types of throttle body
- Electronic throttle (drive-by-wire) with electric motor and position sensors.
- Cable-operated throttle for vehicles built before 2005.

Important: after fitting a replacement throttle body, an adaptation with a diagnostic tool is usually required so the ECU learns the zero point (throttle closed) and the full travel.
