An authorised car breaker's yard, or ATF (Authorised Treatment Facility; CAT in Spain), is a facility that holds all the environmental and administrative licences required to dismantle end-of-life vehicles in line with current regulations. This guarantees that vehicles are handled safely, that waste is managed correctly and that the parts sold come from properly documented vehicles. Autodesguaces Alicante is an authorised ATF.
Do used car parts come with a warranty?
Yes. Every part we sell comes with a warranty from 6 months. We are also members of the Alicante Consumer Arbitration System (no. 296956) as an extra guarantee of trust. And you have 14 days to return the part if it isn't what you needed.
Do you ship parts outside Alicante?
Yes. Although we're based in Alicante, we ship parts anywhere in mainland Spain in 24–48h with a reliable courier. Bulky or heavy parts may take up to 72h.
How do I know if a part fits my car?
Use our search and filter by make, model, version and engine. You can also contact us directly on WhatsApp or by phone with the OEM part number or your vehicle's VIN, and we'll confirm compatibility before you buy.
Can I collect the part from your premises in Alicante?
Yes. If you're in or around Alicante, you can come straight to our premises at C/ Aurora Boreal, 12. We're open Monday to Thursday 9am–6pm and Friday 9am–3pm.
What do I do if I need to scrap my car in Alicante?
We handle vehicle deregistration completely free of charge. We value your car with no obligation, collect it by tow truck free of charge within 50 km of our premises, process the deregistration with the DGT (Spanish traffic authority) and send you the certificate of destruction within 24–48h. We pay you for your vehicle on collection.
