How do I know if my A/C compressor is faulty?

Common symptoms are a lack of cold air, metallic noises when the A/C is switched on, a clutch that does not engage or refrigerant oil leaking under the compressor.

Does the compressor include the electromagnetic clutch?

Yes, all our compressors are supplied complete with pulley and electromagnetic clutch, unless stated otherwise on the product page.

Do I need to recharge the gas after fitting?

Yes. After replacing the compressor, the circuit must be evacuated and recharged with R134a or R1234yf refrigerant, depending on the vehicle.
