Frequently asked questions about heating parts

Why is no hot air coming out of the heater?

The most common causes are low coolant, a thermostat stuck open, a blocked heater matrix or a faulty flap servo motor.

Why does the blower only work on the highest setting?

It is usually a fault in the blower resistor or power module, as the top speed is the only one wired directly without going through the resistor.

Is replacing the heater matrix difficult?

On many models it is, as the dashboard has to be removed. We recommend having it fitted by a professional garage.

Does the part include connectors and brackets?

Yes. Unless the listing says otherwise, all parts are supplied exactly as removed, with their brackets and connectors.
