Part description
Used part, checked: complete engine for Volkswagen Golf IV Berlina (1J1), 1997–2003. We removed it from a Volkswagen Golf IV Berlina (1J1) Highline, with a 1,6 Ltr. - 74 kW engine (code AEH,AKL,APF) and 5-speed manual gearbox.
Manufacturer part number: AKL. Compare it with the one on your part, stamped on it or on a label: if they match, it is the same part. If you can't find it, send us your number plate or VIN on WhatsApp and we'll tell you if it fits your car.
For an engine the engine code, stamped on the block, is what counts: if it matches your car's, it fits its mounts, wiring and ECU. If the power or emissions standard differ, ask us first.
We check it at our Authorised Treatment Facility in Alicante, and it comes with a warranty from 6 months and 14 days to return it. We ship it in 24-48 h within mainland Spain, or you can collect it at our sites in Alicante or Crevillente.
